Mary Ruth Mullis

Mary Mullis, 80, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.

Born on August 23, 1934 in Reform, Alabama, Mary was the daughter of the late Thomas Andrew and Sallie Swedenburg Massey. She was a retired seamstress with Opelika Manufacturing Company. With her late husband, James, Mary enjoyed being a member of Disabled American Veterans and the Georgia Sheriff's Boys Ranch. She possessed a true servant's heart and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Mullis in 2009.

Mary's memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughters, Sallie Diane Fitts (Richard) of Kathleen and Cricket Jones (Teddy) of Macon; grandchildren, Charity Poole (Ken), Nikki Sasser (Edward), Calvin Ted Jones (Wendy) and Brandy Tuttle (William); and six great-grandsons.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mary Mullis to the Georgia Sheriff's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 100, Hahira, GA 31632.
