Mary Sue Elkins

Mary "Sue" Gee Elkins, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Born on April 4, 1919 in Wilson, Arkansas, Mrs. Elkins retired from Robins Air Force Base as an administrative assistant. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Greenbriar Garden Club. Her husband James C. Elkins and parents, John Patton Gee and Ollie Avitts Gee, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Wanda E. Burquest (Mark), Janet C. Griner (Phillip), and James C. Elkins Jr. (Cindy), all of Warner Robins; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her brother Robert Gee of Streamwood, Illinois.


Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, the Reverend Andy Hammack officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins, 1135 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins GA 31093.
