Mathea “Thea” Baker, 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, in Baker’s family cemetery located in Twiggs County, Georgia.
Mrs. Baker was born on May 6, 1926 in Washington State. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Baker was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Benjamin Baker, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, David Robert Baker, Warner Robins; daughters, Myrna Darling, IN; Marylyn Herron, New Mexico; grandchildren, David Benjamin Baker, Joshua Bryan Baker and Michelle Paige Baker, all of Warner Robins.
