Mr. Matthew John Cirullo, 50, of Bonaire, Georgia, formerly of Worth County, died on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at his residence.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 12:00 PM in the chapel of McCullough Funeral on Monday, April 22, 2024. A second memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at Banks Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Lisa Johnson will officiate.

Mr. Cirullo was born on December 6, 1973 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, to the late Eugene and Andrea Lee Rhinholt Eckard. He had lived in Worth County since 1999, before moving to Bonaire, Georgia, last year. Mr. Cirullo retired from the Albany Fire Department after 27 years; he then began working for the Houston County Fire Department. He enjoyed working on his truck, kayaking, scuba diving, hiking and watching baseball and football. Mr. Cirullo loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Cirullo of Bonaire, Georgia; children, Jonathon Cirullo, Brittany Gordon (Paxton) and Denzell Gowdy (Avery); grandson, Lawton Gordon; step-father, John Eckard, Sr., and a brother, John Eckard, Jr., a host of extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation at P.O.
