Meghan Harris, born on December 2, 1984, in Valdosta, Georgia, will be remembered for her generous heart and unwavering dedication to others. She worked as a claims agent at GEICO, where she built meaningful connections through her kindness and compassion.
Meghan was blessed with a servant’s heart and would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. She consistently went out of her way to help those around her, leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She had a deep passion for wrestling and MMA, a love she carried into her community involvement. Meghan devoted four years as President of the Houston County High School Mat Boosters, supporting young athletes and helping foster a strong wrestling community. She also served as secretary at Storm Wrestling Center, continuing her commitment to the sport and its participants.
Above all else, Meghan’s children—biological and chosen—were her entire world. She poured her love, time, and energy into nurturing and supporting them, always placing their happiness and well-being first. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She was preceded in death by her sister, Morgan Harris; maternal grandfather, Richard L. Morgan; step grandfather, Howard Martin and paternal grandparents, Roger Harris and Teresa Harris-Jackson.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved children, Mikayla Williams and Morgan Barlow; parents, Randall and Rachel Harris; sister, Maranda Harris; maternal grandmother, Delores Martin; uncle, Richard Morgan III, and Lynette Morgan-Maddox and a host of extended family.
