Melody Marie Sorrow

Melody Sorrow, 53, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2016.

Born in Sacramento, California on May 22, 1963, Melody was a daughter of the late James Paul and Marie Ann Messik Barber. She adored animals, enjoyed drawing and coloring, but loved her family most of all.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Jennifer Meyer (Gus) of Kathleen, Melody "Sissy" Piper of Centerville, and Randolph William "T.J." Poteat, Jr. (Jamie Weston) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Sierra and Destiny Newby, Amber Piper, Kaitlyn Kitchens, and Dalton, Alyssa, and Khurstin Meyer; siblings, Paul Barber (Pamela Stripland Barber) of Warner Robins, Melissa Barber of Centerville, and Tracy Brooks (Jonathan) of Fort Valley; and a number of adoring nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13th at McCullough Funeral Home. Melody's burial will be private.
