Michael Fitzpatrick, 76, entered into rest on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Michael was born on March 20, 1947, in Jackson, Michigan to the late Harold and Phyllis Fitzpatrick. A man with a true servant’s heart, he ministered at the First Christian Church of Eastman, Georgia. He was a wonderful friend and always had a loving smile for everyone he’d meet. He had a special place in his heart for his rescue dogs, Brindle and Bella. In his free time, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed yard work and gardening.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Riner and his stepdaughter, Kelly Henson Bridgens.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Ruth Ann Fitzpatrick; children, Michael Fitzpatrick (Amy), and William Fitzpatrick (Kelly); stepchildren, Laura Henson Taylor (Sydney), and Thomas Henson (Maureen); stepson-in-law, Steve Bridgens; grandchildren, Mollie, Ethan, Emily, Lauren, Tonya, Amanda, Ashley, James, Anthony, Hannah, TJ, Cassandra, and Cameron; siblings, John Fitzpatrick (Margie) and Steve Fitzpatrick (Colleen); nieces and nephews, Angela (Scott), Shauna (Jonathan), Alina (William), Gary (Hollie), Lori (Bobby), and David; along with 15 great-grandchildren, 13 grandnieces/nephews, and 1 great grandnephew.
Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
