Michael Jason Brown

Michael “Jason” Brown, 45, entered into rest on Friday, June 30, 2023.

Jason was born on July 26, 1977, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Jason graduated from Mooreville High School in Mooreville, Mississippi, where he played football for the high school team. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines where he earned a good conduct medal for his honorable service. He was a mama’s boy and loved his grandparents dearly. Jason loved fishing and always hoped to live and fish in Alaska. In his free time, he also enjoyed parachuting, eating, and traveling. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Herbert Wayne and Mary Kathryn Haskett, and sister, Heather Lynn Haskett.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Jason will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
