Michael John Meyer

Michael John Meyer, 58, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2009.

Mr. Meyer was born on June 28, 1950 in Austin, Minnesota. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United State Navy for four years. He retired in 2008 after being employed for eighteen years as Waterford Golf Club's Superintendent. His father, John H. Meyer, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Gail Rogers Meyer; mother, Rosemary Heinker Meyer-Cook, Austin, Minnesota; children, Cameron Meyer (Amy), Cassie Somers (Shaun), Major Michael Meyer, Jr., and Jenna Davis (Jeff); six brothers and sisters; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Chaplain Michael Rodgers officiating. Memorial donations may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
