Michael Paul "Mike" Hornaday

Mike Hornaday passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Friday, August 26, 2016. He was 35 years old.

Mike was born on June 17, 1981 in Macon, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of the Middle Georgia area. He loved playing baseball, watching movies, and time spent with family and friends. Gone too soon, Mike's memory will always live in the hearts of each person he knew. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dan Hornaday.

Mike's memory will forever be treasured by his beautiful daughters, Annaleise, Alexiss, Aubrey, and Abbygail Hornaday; his devoted mother, Tina R. Jackson of Byron; sister, Amanda Hornaday of Warner Robins; stepbrother, Matthew Jackson (Shana) of Jacksonville, Florida; stepsister, Sarah Jackson of Ashburn; 10 nieces and nephews; and a number of friends including his very best friends, the McIntyre/Davis families.

A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29th at Countryside Baptist Church, 667 Carmen Pl., Macon, GA 31206. At the family's request, his burial will be private.
