Michael Terry Land

Michael Terry Land, age 62, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023.

Born in Macon, GA on February 3, 1961, Michael was the son of Gary Reynolds Land, Sr., and the late Kay Francis Land. Michael worked in the carpet cleaning industry for over 40 years, where his passion to serve others guided him toward his own business which he ran until his passing. In his free time, Michael exercised his talent for building and creating things out of the ordinary. Michael absolutely loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren; he especially loved it when they came to visit. His favorite place in the world was with his family, but Jekyll Island and Driftwood Beach were a close second.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Daryl Land and Steve Lamar Land.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years, Bonnie Land; children: Michael Land (Katie), Rachael Jarrett, Jaime Darsey (Elliot), Sam Land (Abby), Katie Prestridge (Will), Justin Yun, Christian Yun and Victoria Yun; grandchildren: Natalie, Maloreigh, Zoey, Addison, Logan, Alleigh, Averie, Leighton and Hudson; father, Gary Reynolds Land, Sr.; and brother, Gary R. Land, Jr.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Michael Land to AGSAA.org for his granddaughter, Zoey.
