Early on the morning of Saturday, September 9, 2023, Michael William Stringer, 67, entered the gates of heaven.
Mike was born on July 6, 1956, in Midland, Texas to the late Samuel and Victoria Garcia Stringer. Mike exhibited a tremendous work ethic and was a jack of all trades. If he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, especially catching and eating catfish, and camping. His greatest love was the time spent with his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Darlene Mendoza.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Karen Stringer; children, Amber Stringer (Juan) of Byron, Chris Stringer (Rosana) of Midland, Texas, and Lauren Wright-Hulette of Byron; sisters, Syliva Ann Everhart, Mary Jane Richardson and brother, Sammy Jackson Stringer, and grandchildren, Saffire, Delilah, Demerie, Keen, Bubba, Destiny, Isaiah, Daisy, Kendal, and Hudson.
A Visitation with Mike’s family will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mike will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Michael William Stringer. These gifts can be made payable directly to McCullough Funeral Home with “Michael Stringer Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
