Mildred Alexander Powell

Mildred Alexander Powell, 79, entered into rest on Friday, March 15, 2013.

Mrs. Powell was born on March 26, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a wonderful, loving homemaker, and of the Pentecostal faith. Mildred had a servant's heart; she was always willing and eager to help those in need. Her loving smile and friendly disposition will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her husband, William R. Powell, Jr., preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, John Robert Powell, Centerville; grandsons, Dakota and Caleb Powell, Macon; and brother, Billy Alexander, Louisiana.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment in Magnolia Park Cemetery will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations in memory of Mildred A. Powell, to the Salvation Army, 305 Green Street, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
