Mildred Royer, 80, of Warner Robins, died Thursday November 15, at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 17 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Southside Baptist Music Ministry or General Mission Fund.
Born in Reading Gardens, PA, Mrs. Royer was the owner of Royer’s for Music, and also R & T Health Center. She was a piano teacher in Warner Robins for more than 30 years. Additionally, she was a church organist for 50 years, serving Evergreen Baptist, Bible Baptist and Southside Baptist Churches. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Harvesters Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Royer; and her parents, Herbert and Esther Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Doreen Moore, Warner Robins; son, Duane Royer, Clearwater, FL; sister, Fern “Mickey” Bullock, Warner Robins; grandsons, Bert Moore, Augusta; Christopher Moore, Warner Robins; granddaughters, Lisa Royer, Clearwater, FL; Natalie Royer, New York; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla Moore, Augusta.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
