Minnie Lee Johnson

Minnie Lee Johnson, 69, entered into rest on May 7, 2009. Mrs. Johnson was born on August 9, 1939 in Wrightsville, Georgia. Her parents, Charlie Ezell and Lucille Ezell, and son Mark V. Johnson; and grandson Joseph Wood preceded her in death.

Committed to her community, she was a very dedicated Girl Scout leader for ten years and served as Associate Chairman. She loved Northside football and was very active in the Band Boosters Club and was employed at the Salvation Army Thrift store.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband James of fifty-one years, children, daughter Maria Johnson Wood (Greg), Owensboro, Kentucky; sons, William L. Johnson (Cheves), Jacksonville, North Carolina, James Edward Johnson (Wendy), Warner Robins, C. P. Johnson, Warner Robins; and grandchildren, Jeremy M. and Rachel L. Johnson, Kyle and Macy Wood, and Mandy and Claudia Johnson.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Phil Faraone officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
