Minnie Pendley, 90, entered into rest on Sunday, June 1, 2008.
Mrs. Pendley was born on September 26, 1917 in Pell City, Alabama. She was a retired civil servant from Robins Air Force Base. Heritage Bass United Methodist Church was her church home. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing. Her husband, William D. Pendley and parents, William P. and Caralee D. Dorough, preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Lenora Kitchens Clements (George), Warner Robins and Reba Kitchens Hudson (Wayne), Macon; sister, Mary Shepherd, Macon; grandchildren, Julie Clements Epps, Bonaire, Phil Harper, Hoschton, Lenora "Le" Harper Kilgore, Macon, Chuck Robinson, Macon, and Matt Robinson, Athens; and eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Annie.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Rex Odom will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
