Minnie May Ell

Minnie Ell, 86, entered into rest on Saturday, August 10, 2013.

Mrs. Ell was born on January 11, 1927 in Athens, Georgia. She retired from the Houston County Board of Education and was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she led the nursery ministry since 1971. Her parents, Hubert and Lillie Cooper and siblings, Fannie Cooper-Childers, Carl Cooper and Roy Cooper, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband Leslie F. Ell; children, Katherine Welch-White (Gordon), Arizona; Roy Welch (Sandy), Thomaston; and Linn Bell, Eastman; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday, August 12, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund 1040 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
