Miriam H. Mantooth

Miriam H. Mantooth, 84, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.

Miriam was born on August 17, 1929 in Greshamville, Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hugh M. Mantooth; parents, Comus E. Hardman, Sr. and Minnie G. Hardman; and siblings, Sarah Frances Perteet, Comus E. Hardman, Jr., Cumi Miller and Carolyn Barnett preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring children, Tony Mantooth (Araminta) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Cathye Wiest (Donald) of Charleston, South Carolina and Stephen Mantooth (Vicky) of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Catrina and Mathew Wiest, Jason Mantooth, Stephanie Mantooth, Anthony Mantooth, Jr., Marcus Mantooth and Cody Mantooth; four great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to VistaCare Hospice - a Gentiva company, 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
