Mitzi Leonard

Mitzi Leonard, 52, went ahead of us to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2015.

Mitzi was born on June 9, 1963 in Macon, Georgia to Charles and Eva McLemore Horne. She was a member of Harvest Church. Mitzi was very outgoing, she enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, flowers, gardening, and loved to share her faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will truly be missed by all. She had a passion for all people and was loved by all who knew her.

Her brother, Charles L. Horne, Jr., preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Timothy Leonard of Perry; children, Shasta Leonard Harris and son-in-law Cameron Harris of Perry, Autumn Lynn Leonard (Brandon Hall) of Warner Robins, Timothy Paul Leonard, II and Summer Michelle Leonard both of Perry; grandchildren, Zachary Harris, Paisley-Rose Mitzi Harris; parents, Charles and Eva Horne of Warner Robins; sister, Kitty Lynn Mantz (Dean) of Warner Robins; father-in-law, Reginald Lee Leonard of St. Johnsbury, Vermont; sister-in-law, Kathleen Leonard Ainsworth (Duane) of Lyndonville, Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Harvest Church, Pastor Jim Cowart will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Mitzi Leonard to Cancer Treatment Center, 600 Celebrate Life Pkwy, Newnan, Ga 30265.
