Msgt. Charles Rawls, Jr. Us Army (Ret)

Charles Rawls, Jr., 88, passed away on August 30, 2005, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army, 305 Green Street, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.

Mr. Rawls was born in Ocala, Florida. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Warner Robins. He was a MSGT in the United States Army serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict. His parents, Charles and Stella Rawls, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Rawls, Warner Robins; daughters, Sharilynn Rawls, Warner Robins; Susan Odom, Ashburn, Georgia; sons, Charles B. “Chuck” Rawls, III, Warner Robins; Franklin “Neal” Rawls, Montezuma; Lawrence “Larry” Rawls, Warner Robins; six grandchildren; sister, Iris Nix, Ocala, Florida; brother, Wesley Rawls, Pennsylvania.
