Msgt. Paul Vernon Sunderman, Usafr (Ret.)

Paul Sunderman, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.

Paul was born on March 1, 1943 in Warren, Ohio to the late Charles, Sr. and Edith Bell Sunderman. With great pride and honor he served four years in the United States Air Force and twenty years in the Air Force Reserve. Paul retired with the rank of Master Sergeant, before beginning a 24-year logistics career in civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Paul and his family attended Christ Lutheran Church in Perry.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 53 years, Penelope "Pennie" Sunderman of Fort Valley, children, Paul Sunderman, Jr. (Donna) of Wichita Falls, Texas; Pamela Sunderman of Gahanna, Ohio; Patrick Sunderman (Lisa) of Byron; grandchildren, Chantelle Coles Neal, Joshua Greene, Jessica Peterson, Katie Sunderman, Cory Sunderman, Paul E. Sunderman; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Sunderman and Greyson Sunderman.

A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be given in memory of Paul to Christ Lutheran Memorial Fund, 208 Langston Rd., Perry, GA 31069.
