MSgt. Richard Glaser, USAF (Ret.), 48, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 26, at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25 at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to the Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April organization, www.rebuildingtogether.org.
Mr. Glaser was born June 29, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina to Frank and Shirley Glaser. After 27 years of honorable service, he retired from the United States Air Force where he served as a Master Sergeant. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and an active member in the Lift High the Cross Balloon Ministry. Mr. Glaser also was a member of the Rebuilding Together/Christmas in April Organization. His father, Frank Glaser, preceded him in death.
Survivors include, wife, Sue Glaser, Warner Robins; son, Eric Glaser, Warner Robins; mother, Shirley Glaser, Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Allan Glaser, Wayne, PA; brother, Lee Glaser, McLean, VA; sister, Linda Beam, Cary, NC; mother-in-law, Jackiee Dubil, Lugoff; sister-in-law, Judi Thompson, Elgin, SC; and brother-in-law, Mike Dubil, Columbia, SC.
