Msgt Shayne Allen Copeland, Usaf (Ret)

Shayne Allen Copeland, 49, entered into rest on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Shayne was born on December 27, 1964 in Goshen, Indiana. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Shayne had many interests and hobbies including playing softball and golf, going to the beach and scuba diving. He enjoyed having a good time while playing pool and grilling, and would sing and karaoke any chance he got. Shayne also had a passion for Harley Davidsons.

His father, Ronald Eugene Copeland, Sr. and niece, Brandy Copeland, preceded him in death.

Shayne's memory will forever be treasured by his loving sons, Tyler Copeland of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jonathan Copeland of Warner Robins, Georgia; fiancé, Betty Morton of Bonaire, Georgia; mother, Susan Amiss (Phillip) of Elkhart, Indiana; siblings, Shawne Copeland (Doretta) of Severn, Maryland, Ronald Copeland (Audrianna) of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Heath Gage of St. Louis, Missouri and Tina Norton of Elkhart, Indiana; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The family will also greet friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Full Military Honors. Burial will be private.
