Msgt. Thomas Allen Hayes, Usaf (Ret.)

November 11, 1937 — September 14, 2021

MSgt. Thomas Allen Hayes, USAF (Ret.) age 83, passed away unexpectedly in Warner Robins on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

A 28-year veteran, Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, most recently in Korea where he spent most of his career. A retired Master Sergeant, he was with the 2146 Communication Group as an Electronic Computer and SWG System Technician. During his time in the Air Force, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, and National Defense Service Medal, just to name a few. Thomas was a big supporter and member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Hyesuk Chang Hayes; daughter, Yonhui “Claire” Braun (Robert) of Kathleen; grandson, Steven Braun; great grandchildren, Allison and Carter Braun.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at McCullough Funeral Home with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in memory of MSgt. Thomas Hayes to any veteran military charity of the donor’s choice.
