Ned N. Reese

Kathleen – Ned Reese, 76, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

Ned was born on April 23, 1942 in Chamblee, Georgia to the late Sanford G. Reese and Ochal V. Reese. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army E-6 as an Airborne Ranger. Ned honorably earned two Purple Hearts while serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from the military after 29 years of service. After retiring, Ned was a service officer for the Disabled American Veterans, Department of Georgia. He was a member of The River Church in Kathleen, GA. Ned’s favorite pastime was spending time with his wife and children whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Ned was preceded in death by his son Brent H. Reese; and siblings, Joan R. Crider, John R. Reese, and James G. Reese.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Dorothy Leath Reese; sons, Brent N. Reese of St. Augustine, Florida and Robert S. Rini (Pat) of Auburntown, Tennessee; and grandchild, Joshua Horsley.

Visitation will be Friday, October 26 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. After the service, Ned will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery with full Military Honors.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Ned Reese to the Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-030.
