Nelda Dennard, 82, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
Ms. Dennard was born on April 14, 1930 in Finlayson, Georgia to the late Thomas Jefferson Dennard and Jewel McGlamory Dennard. A longtime resident of Warner Robins, she was a 1949 graduate of Rumble High School. For many years she worked for Warner Robins Drug Store. Nelda was a charter member of Second Baptist Church and a current member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Joy Bible Class. In addition to her parents, her brothers, Jack and Jerry Dennard, all preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her siblings, Betty Sue Sparkman, Moscow, Idaho; twin sister, Zelda Gibson, Warner Robins; nephews, Tom Ray, Jerry K. Dennard, Jeffrey Dennard, Jimmy Dennard, Kenneth Sparkman, Mike Sparkman, and niece, Jewel E. Gibson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25, in Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilcox County. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
