Nell Johnson Jones

Nell Johnson Jones, 96, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 15, 2010.

Mrs. Jones was born on December 13, 1914 in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia and a member of Riverside Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. Nell was a member of Daughters of the Nile; an international fraternal organization that she proudly saw prosper as a social and charitable organization. Her husband, James Gwynne Jones; daughter, Carolyn Adams; son, James Jones; and her parents, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter in law, Shirley Jones, Bonaire, Georgia; loving grandchildren, Amanda Jones Fly, San Antonio, Texas; Brenda Maddox, Florida; Cindy Perlotta, Texas; and numerous great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in San Hose Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Central Baptist Church – The Next Horizon, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088
