Nicholas Reese Husar

Nicholas “Reese” Husar, 24, passed away unexpectedly, from natural causes, on Monday, July 24, 2023.

Reese was born on August 15, 1998, in Jackson, Tennessee to Jolynn Hoogstad and the late Jason Patrick Husar. Reese had a passion for body building and worked at Legends Fitness in Macon as a manager. He enjoyed traveling, listening to his music, shopping for new clothes, and eating at fancy new restaurants. He leaves behind many friends, his Legends Fitness Family, and his dog Maze.

In addition to his father, Reese is preceded in death by his uncle Shannon Watson.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Keith and Jolynn Hoogstad of Fort Valley; sister, Kennedi Johnson (Austin) of Macon; grandparents, Jackie and Nancy Green, David Moore, Nikki and Jimmy Husar, and Joe and Eileen Hoogstad; niece, Lily Jo Beach; 5 cousins; 2 aunts, and lots of cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

The family will accept flowers in memory of Nicholas “Reese” Husar.
