Norbert Raymond ''Ray'' Shifflet

Norbert Raymond “Ray” Shifflet, 60, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 30, 2004 at the Southside Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 29 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Shifflet was born in Kentucky on May 11, 1943, but lived for many years in Ohio. He was a member of the Ohio Organization of the Deaf in the Cincinnati and Dayton area and a member of the Deaf Ministry Baptist Church of Cincinnati. In later years he made his home in Warner Robins, Georgia where he was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Shifflet; mother, Louvina Belle (Goins) Shifflet; and brother, Neville Earl Shifflet.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Sheryl A. Shifflet, Warner Robins; stepson, Larry E. Kidd, Jr., Ohio; sister, Nancy Reade, Marietta; and four grandchildren.
