Norma Elaine Roland

Norma Elaine Roland entered into rest on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on January 19, 1947, in Hazelhurst, Georgia, Norma was the cherished daughter of the late Vance Dillion Walters and Gladys Carolyn Watson Walters.

Norma spent several years working on Robins Air Force Base, where she played an essential role in supporting various missions before her retirement.

Beyond her professional life, Norma had a passion for the simple pleasures that brought her immense joy. She found solace in casting a fishing line, enjoyed the camaraderie of card games, and had an undeniable fondness for the thrill of slot machines.

Yet, above all else, Norma's heart belonged to her family. Family gatherings were her favorite occasions, where she shared laughter, stories, and the warmth of her embrace.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered, her memory serving as a reminder of the beauty of a life well-lived and the importance of cherishing every precious moment.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Jana Bembry; grandkids, Aisha Mull, Amber Mull, Chance Mull; great-grandkids, Jase Mull, Rayna Mull, Aislyn Paige, Lydia Tally, and Gauge Mull; as well as one brother, Roy.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Norma will be laid to rest privately.
