Ollie Lee Spires

Ollie Lee Spires, 69, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2005 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Spires was born on February 29, 1936 in Fitzgerald, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base and served his country in the United States Air Force. His wife, Vera Walker Spires; parents, Oscar and Nina Mae Kimbrell Spires, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Wesley Spires, Warner Robins; daughter, Pam Lyman, Bonaire; grandchildren, Kimberly Lyman, Brian Lyman, and Kevin Lyman; sisters, Lillie Mae Hartsfield, Wanda Lott, and Irma Jones; brothers, Oscar Spires, Bob Spires, Harry Spires, Larry Spires, and Jim Spires; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
