Pat Pettis

Pat Pettis, 79, entered into rest on Monday, February 20, 2012.

Ms. Pettis was born on November 5, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 1353, was a past Regent, and held a Collegian Degree. Pat lived in the Moosehaven Retirement Community for the past eight years. Her loving husband, Joseph D. Pettis; daughters, Linda and Naomi; parents, J.B. Dukes and Bertha Lee Register Dukes; brother, Jack Dukes; and five great-grandchildren, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Sandra Duffell (David), Byron, Judy A. Barnickel (Dale), Byron; Joseph D. Pettis III, Montgomery, Alabama, and Daniel A. Pettis (Donna), Warner Robins; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
