Patricia Ann Reed, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on the evening of Saturday, September 20, 2025. Born in Pitts, Georgia, to the late Ernest Rountree and Lucy Wright Rountree, Patricia lived a life full of love, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Patricia's home was a true reflection of who she was — always clean, beautifully decorated (and often redecorated), and filled with warmth and laughter. She had a deep love for music and dancing, and could often be found cooking up cherished family recipes, filling the air with the rich aromas of comfort and tradition.

A woman of many roles and many talents, Patricia wore countless hats throughout her life — from wife and mother, to aunt, grandmother, church secretary, cleaning service owner, and front desk attendant at a local hair salon. No matter the title, she approached each role with heart and an unmistakable sense of style. A devoted doll collector with a keen eye for fashion, Patricia always carried herself with grace and flair.

She found joy in traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, one of her favorite places to visit with her family. Patricia will be remembered not only for the love she gave so freely, but for the beautiful life she built; one full of music, family, and the little things that made every day feel special. Patricia was preceded in death by her five brothers and her one sister.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her beloved husband, James F. Reed; daughter, Christy Ann Dennis (Christa L. Suppan); sons, David Brian Rutherford (Levy P. Rutherford) and Terry Scot Rutherford; grandsons, Justin Blake Rutherford and Holden Vincent Dennis; stepson, Franklin J. Reed; her favorite niece, Wanda Floyd Stricklin and many other loving family members.
