Patricia Anne “Pat” Cullen Quinn of Centerville entered into rest on Saturday, June 18, 2022. She was 89 years old.
Born to Irish and Scottish immigrants, Pat came into the world in Flushing, New York on October 2, 1932. A devout Catholic, Pat was a longtime and dedicated member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a homemaker for most of her life but later, went back to school to become a nurse, earning her associate’s degree in nursing. Pat worked at Huntington Hospital in New York for many years in her chosen profession.
In addition to her parents, Joseph and Mary Hyland Cullen, Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Patrick Quinn, and her sister, Maureen Cullen Hodges.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Maureen Delevante (Danny) of Palm Coast, Florida, Sheila Quinn of Warner Robins, Liz Riker of Centerville, Georgia, Jimmy Quinn (Deirdra) of Pennsylvania and John Quinn (Diane) of Manhasset, New York; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. A committal service will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Astoria, New York.
Memorials may be given or donations may be made in Pat’s memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 300 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
