Patricia Ann Franklin, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Mrs. Franklin was born on January 24, 1935, in Waldenburg, Arkansas to the late John and Hester Rowland Winfrey. She lived most of her life in the Byron, Georgia area working in administration for the City of Fort Valley and the Peach County Manager. She was also an accomplished hairstylist. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was also an exceptional Bingo player and thrived on spending time with her friends at the American Legion or the Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Thomas Franklin.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, James W. Mathis of Warner Robins; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Mrs. Franklin’s family will receive friends on Thursday, July 10, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens The graveside service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
