Early on the morning of Friday, April 7, 2023, Patricia Murphy Grammer, 69, peacefully joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.
Mrs. Grammer was born on March 5, 1954, in Macon, Georgia to the late William M. and Elizabeth Hensley Murphy. She retired from National Bank Products where she worked as a compliance officer. A devoted wife, mother, and Nana, she had many hobbies including reading, oil painting (Bob Ross style), watching action or sci-fi movies—specifically Star Trek, and listening to music. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time in nature whether it was the beaches of Florida or the mountains of Tennessee. For an evening out, she enjoyed El Jalisciense or Cracker Barrel. Mrs. Grammer was a faithful member of Bonaire First Baptist Church as well as the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Susan Elaine Murphy; and several family members and friends. Today, she is having a joyous homecoming party where the classic, bottled Coca-Cola and pistachios without the shell are plentiful.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, William J. Grammer, III; her son, William V. Grammer (Johna); her daughter, Kelly Diana Christmas (Darren); her granddaughter, Corinne Elisabeth Grammer; her grandson, William C. Grammer; her sister, Lisa Patton; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation with Mrs. Grammer’s family will be Monday, April 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Bonaire First Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Rodgers officiating. At the conclusion of the committal service, guests are welcome to visit with the family at 113 Bella Court; Kathleen, Georgia 31047.
