Patrie Thigpen Johnson, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2005. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, at First Assembly of God with interment scheduled at 3:00 p.m. in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24 at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 9, 1911 in Cadwell, Georgia to the late Linton Stephen and Eunice Hamilton Thigpen. She was a charter member of First Assembly of God where she taught the Primary Sunday School Class, was a past president and an active member of the Women’s Ministry. She was also a seamstress while living in Logansport, Indiana. Preceding her in death were husband, Thomas Christopher Johnson; granddaughter, Victoria Faith Poteet; sisters, Lillian Anderson and Hilda Calloway.

Survivors include, daughter, Patricia J. Sparks, Cochran; son, Dr. Thomas Franklin Johnson, Dahlonega; grandsons, Christopher Earl Johnson, Macon, Stephen Franklin Johnson, Gray, Andrew Thomas Johnson, South Dakota; sister, Sally Dixon, Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews.
