Patsy Nettles Douglas

Patsy Douglas, 63, entered into rest on Friday, July 11, 2014.

Mrs. Douglas was born on April 12, 1951 in Hazlehurst, Georgia. A student of Emory University, she was a longtime office manager for Dr. Winford Spears in Warner Robins. Following her career there, she continued serving in the medical field for several years. Patsy was a longtime board member of Warner Robins Little League where she organized girl's fast pitch softball and served as the Vice President for many years. She coached many teams, of all ages, throughout her involvement in Little League softball. She was also very involved in coaching girl's basketball. Second Baptist Church was her church home. Her parents, James and Sarah Nettles, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-four years, Barney Douglas; children, Cela Sullivan (Keith), Bonaire and Wade Douglas (Magen Roberts), Dublin; grandchildren, Jordan Schnee (Mallory Dykes), Keyan Sullivan and Kenly Sullivan, step granddaughter, Keira Sullivan; step great grandchildren, Kolby Tucker and Kicen Sullivan; brother, Billy Nettles (Brenda); several nieces and nephews and special family: Sherry McGlamory, Jason Morronie and Lucas "Luke" Cowart.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Warner Robins Little League Softball, P.O. Box 6562, Warner Robins, GA 31095.
