Paul Douglas Masisak

Paul Douglas Masisak, 68, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 10, 1950, Paul was the son of the late Charles G. Masisak, Sr. and Irene Angeletti Masisak. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served his country with honor and valor for 10 years in the United States Air Force. During his Air Force career, he was stationed at Tyndall AFB, Dobbins AFB, Shaw AFB, and finally Robins AFB where he retired. Subsequent to his military retirement, Paul went on to work in Civil Service for 25 years where he worked on C-130 and F-15’s. In his free time, he enjoyed going to the beach and hunting, especially with friends at the Taylor County Hunting Club.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Melissa M. Bullington (Chris) of Panama City, Florida, Cara J. Masisak of Macon, and Joseph P. Masisak of Bainbridge; granddaughter, Madylen B. Masisak; sister, Patricia “Pat” Masisak of Sumter, South Carolina; brother, Charles G. Masisak of Lafayette, Georgia; nieces, Jennifer Jolly (Mitch), Katie M. Parnell (Shawn), and Meredith Masisak (Chicken); three great-nephews; one great-niece; and his beloved granddog, “Spanky R. Bullington aka The Rat.”

Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Paul will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Sumter, South Carolina at a later date.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be given in memory of Paul to Encompass Hospice, 1760 Bass Rd., Ste 202, Macon, GA 31210.
