Paul H. Pelters

Paul H. Pelters, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

Paul was born on September 6, 1945 in Westerly, Rhode Island to the late Herbert and Margaret Willer Pelters. With great honor and pride he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served his country during the Vietnam War. Paul then worked at Bell South as a system analyst until his retirement after 33 dedicated years. He had a zest for life and always brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met. Paul enjoyed spending time with his beloved family; especially his grandchildren.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 48 years Judy Burdick Pelters of Antioch; their three children, Matthew Pelters, Holli Ellis, and William Pelters; as well as six grandchildren, Brittany Pelters, Jordan Pelters, Ava Pelters, Megan Holland, Josh Fordham, Ashley Pike; one great-granddaughter, Axylle Pelters; sister, Margaret Hathaway and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Antioch, Tennessee with a Memorial Service starting at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Paul H. Pelters to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 3100 Murfreesboro Pike, Antioch, TN 37013.
