Paula Thigpen Lipscomb

Paula Lipscomb, 62, entered into rest on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Mrs. Lipscomb was born on February 21, 1951 in Savannah, Georgia. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Her father, Paul Thigpen, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-one years, John Lipscomb; children, Kenny Lipscomb, Atlanta; and Heather Matthews (William), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brody, Christopher, Lorelai and Brooks Matthews; siblings, Remae Helmey, Savannah; and John Thigpen, Warner Robins; nieces, Jennifer Williams; Shannon Crim; nephews, Christopher Thigpen, Jeffery Thigpen and Jason Helmey; mother, Maurice Thigpen, Centerville; cousin, Brenda Lennane and several other cousins, family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church with interment following in First Baptist Church Centerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
