Peggy Ann Haddock Pratt, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on January 26, 1932, in Pensacola, Florida, Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late John and Thelma Greene Haddock.

A devoted homemaker, Peggy dedicated her life to her family, filling her home with warmth, care, and unwavering love. Peggy was the heart of her family, known for her nurturing spirit, gentle wisdom, and kind smile. She found great joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family treasures the many memories of time spent together, especially during cherished vacations to St. George Island, where she and her beloved husband, Dr. Pratt, owned a second home.

A woman of many talents, Peggy loved gardening and was known for her delicious home cooking, which brought comfort and joy to all who gathered around her table. She had a keen eye for beauty and creativity, which she expressed through her love of painting china. She also enjoyed the fun and companionship of playing cards with friends and family.

For many years, Peggy managed her late husband's dental office with grace and dedication, supporting his career while keeping the practice running smoothly. She was also deeply involved in her faith community. A charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church, she was an active and faithful participant in the Asbury Sunday School Class, where she formed lifelong friendships and deepened her spiritual journey.

Peggy's life was a testament to love, faith, and family. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and grace that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Doyle R. Pratt, and sister, Sue Cuppett.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Meredith Lester (Jim) and Randy Pratt (Melanie); grandchildren, Jordan Lester (Kristin), Connor Lester (Samantha), Cody Pratt (Morgan), and Lindsay Pratt; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following in the chapel. Afterward, Peggy will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
