Peter "Pete" D. Miller

April 7, 1949 — March 26, 2023

On the morning of Sunday, March 26, 2023, Pete D. Miller, 73, entered the gates of heaven.


Pete was born on April 7, 1949, in Rochester, New York. Following high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam for three years. Pete moved to Warner Robins and dedicated 42 years Civil Service to Robins Air Force Base working in electronics. While working at Robins Air Force Base, he attended Georgia Military College where he received his degree in Electronics. Pete loved riding motorcycles and was a member of a Vietnam Veterans group who would plan and participate in rides together. He enjoyed working with computers, learning about history, and working in his yard. Pete was a family man and enjoyed any time spent with his beloved family at home. Pete was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Mauk.


His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 45 years, Cathy Miller; son, Greg Miller and his wife, Apryl; and grandchildren, Kohen Miller, Chandler Rutledge, Ayden Rutledge, and Rylie Dean.


Visitation with Pete’s family will be Monday, March 27, 2023, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A private family graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Magnolia Park Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
