Philip D. Kovsky, 91, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014.
Philip was born on December 27, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a Metallurgist and retired as plant manager of a gray iron foundry in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Philip was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be truly missed.
His wife, Freda Faktorow Kovsky, and parents, Joseph and Frances Carson, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Mark (Martha) Kovsky of Warner Robins, Michael (Marylou) Kovsky of Memphis, Tennessee, Charles (Judy) Kovsky of Livonia, Michigan, Cheryl (Philip) Litt of West Bloomfield, Michigan, thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
