Phyllis Murphy Rogers

Phyllis Murphy Rogers, 54, entered into rest on Thursday, May 21, 2009.

Ms. Rogers was born on March 26, 1955, in McRae, Georgia. She was employed as a Bank Teller at Bank of Perry. She called Living Hope in Byron her church home, where she was active in AWANA. Her husband, William Michael Rogers, and parents, William James Murphy and Sara Clark Murphy, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sisters, Janice A. Murphy, Lizella, and Theresa Blount (Wayne), Cartersville; brother, William James Murphy, Jr., Byron; uncle, Sid Clark (Jean), St. Mary's; nephews, Jimmy Blount, Jacob Blount, Jason Murphy; and niece, Stephanie Marshall.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 23, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend David Long officiating. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
