Ralph K. Mcvey

Ralph K. McVey, 76, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2006. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 2, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Mr. McVey was born on August 22, 1930 in Emanuel County, Georgia. Ralph retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. Upon retirement, he served as the Deputy Director for the Houston County American Red Cross. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia. A man of great faith, he also served as Deacon for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. His loving wife of fifty three and a half years, Pearl Wylene McVey, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Janet Little (Mike), Rome; Dr. Steve McVey (Melanie), Tampa, FL; brother, Robert McVey, Savannah; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
