Ralph L. Wilson, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Warner Robins and Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away on 10/30/26 at the age of 93.

Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years, including service in Vietnam. He retired with the rank of Technical Sergeant after a military career that took him to various assignments throughout the country and overseas.

Following his military retirement, Ralph made Warner Robins, Georgia, his home for more than 40 years. During his retirement, he devoted much of his time to his greatest passion: bass fishing. An accomplished angler, Ralph competed in the Fishing League Worldwide bass fishing tournaments, earning a co-angler division victory in 2000 and finishing fourth in the co-angler division at the 2003 FLW Tour Championship.

After more than four decades in Warner Robins, Ralph moved to the Atlanta area to be closer to his daughter, Elizabeth, and her family.

Ralph was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan, and his love of baseball became a special part of his relationship with his grandson, Tyler. Ralph introduced Tyler to the game, and the two spent many years playing Little League baseball together. Those years on the baseball field created lasting memories and a special bond between grandfather and grandson. The time they shared playing baseball will always be a treasured part of their story.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Alice Wilson; his daughter, Elizabeth Jenkins, and her husband, Nick; and his grandson, Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

No memorial service will be held per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Georgia Wildlife Federation in memory of Ralph’s lifelong passion for fishing.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
