Raymond A. Caven, 71, passed away at his residence on the evening of Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Born on March 13, 1954, in Barre, Vermont, Raymond was the son of the late James C. Caven and Dorothy Ricketson Caven. He was a dedicated serviceman with the City of Warner Robins.

Raymond had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. A man of strong character, he was kind, respectful, and caring to everyone he met. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa who cherished his family dearly. Family-oriented and actively involved in his loved ones’ lives, Raymond took great joy in attending family activities and making lasting memories together.

Raymond was a member of Hope Church. There, he volunteered his time, helped with maintenance, and shared his passion for the outdoors by teaching outdoor skills to teens. He also participated in a mission trip to Haiti, sharing his servant’s heart and desire to help others.

Raymond had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun, especially with his grandchildren, who adored him.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his son, Michael Dunn; sister, Dianna Caven; and first wife, Teresa Caven.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Elise Patirica Flowers Caven of Warner Robins; children, Christopher Caven, Jessica Wright, Michael Washington, and Karissa Johnson; grandchildren, McKenzie Caven, Aubrey Caven, Taylor Caven, Everigh Caven, Remington Caven, Adrianne Lopez-Albert (Dakota Lopez-Albert), Dallas Johnson (Kyle Williams), Gaven Johnson (Setra), Noah Johnson, Marshall Johnson (Guadalupe), Emma Dunn, and Kelly Dunn; great-grandchildren, Cassius Lopez-Albert, Roman Lopez-Albert, Pasiley Barlow, Ivy Johnson, Olivia Williams, Liam Williams, Nova Johnson, Ellianna Johnson, Mateo Johnson; siblings, Joanne Caven Amos, Donna Caven, and Vicki Caven.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Afterward, Raymond A. Caven will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
