Regina Jester

Regina Jester, 93, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2009.

Ms. Jester was born on September 22, 1915 in Barnesville. A homemaker who loved to travel and read, she was of the Baptist Faith and a long-time member of Countryside Christian Church in Warner Robins. Her husband, John L. Jester, son, Britt Jester, and parents, Larry Bryant Britt and Elizabeth Surls Britt, all preceded her in death.

She will forever be remembered by her daughters, Amanda Westbury, Bolingbroke; Lynn Ruzic (Stan), Kathleen; Kay Pike (Alan), Centerville; Jane Ford (Steve), Centerville; son, John S. Jester, Lafayette, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jester, Byron; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2009, in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Chaplain Thomas Qualls officiating.
