Renee “Nay Nay” Taylor, 58, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 15, 2025.
Renee was born on May 23, 1967, in White Plains, New York. A devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Known for her caring nature, free spirit, and the ability to make people laugh, Renee lived without boundaries with a New York state of mind. She always lived an eclectic life from the streets of Yonkers to the red clay of Georgia, from which no one could hold her down.
Renee’s heart was always with her family, whether she was at home tending to their needs or out in the world pursuing a variety of unique and meaningful jobs. Over the years, she received her certificate in dental hygiene and worked as an Ammunition Specialist for Pyrotechnic Specialties, a compassionate caregiver in a nursing home, and a dedicated employee at a laundromat. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Renee was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Taylor and sister, Lora Bosier Taylor.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Janay Atron De Bonay Taylor of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Javona Taylor and Adonis Jackson; mother, Dorothy Taylor of Macon, Georgia; siblings, Michael Haslam Taylor (Wanda) of Yonkers, New York, Melvin Taylor (Cathy) of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Dr. Debbie D. Taylor of Centerville, Georgia; along with several nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
